Irony: Obama Now at 47% in Gallup Poll, Bounce Disappears

Petraeus And Crocker Testify Before Senate On State Of Iraq War

A week ago today the president led Mitt Romney by six points in the Gallup poll, as a giddy media gushed over his so-called bounce in the polls. Today that lead has disappeared, as he is down to a statistically insignificant 47-46 lead over Romney.

How ironic that as the media wets themselves over the secretly-recorded video of Romney pointing out 47% of the public is dependent on government that Mr. Big Government himself now has exactly 47%.

Now I must ask, what could have possibly happened that has caused Obama’s margin to drop so precipitously? Hmmm? Anyone? Bueller? Could it be the collapse of his foreign policy? Could it be his administration’s lies about what happened in Benghazi? We ask these simple questions because the media refuses to.

One thing that should be kept in mind about these numbers. Gallup is not using a likely voter screen. These are numbers for registered voters. That pool skews about 2% to 4% more Democrat than the actual electorate.

I’m sure that lying about mortar barrages and ignoring the record number of unemployed, on disability and the latest credit downgrade will pump those numbers right back up. Cause he’s soooo dreamy.
