“He was the CEO, he was the sole shareholder. He was responsible for the decisions that,” Burton said.
Uh, no, he was not the CEO at the time. How many times do we have to go through this?
Burton said that the ad would air in battleground states around the United States and that the superPAC would be spending $20 million on the ad. The ad is set to air in Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
The Romney campaign was quick to attack the ad after it was released on Tuesday. Thursday morning the former Massachusetts governor’s campaign sent out a mass email titled “What they’re saying about the disgraceful Obama superPAC ad.”
I knew these people would scrape the bottom of the barrel, but to proceed with a massive ad buy for a spot that even the left recoiled at is, quite frankly, insane. The president could put a halt to this lunacy right now. The fact he’s silent tells you more than enough that he’s no longer qualified for office.
