A few more of these wins and the Democratic Party will simply close up shop. Now that would be a blessing for America. Now I realize how excited the drooling MSNBC morons were that last Tuesday was such a big night for Obama, but really, can anyone in their right mind claim the humiliating loss in Wisconsin was somehow a win?
First of all, we look at Wisconsin as a win. We, which is not reported in the mainstream media, we picked up a senate seat, which denies Scott Walker a majority in the senate. So we put the breaks on him at least until the next election season. Secondly, you know, I always thought the base would come around because, as they like to say in Obama-land, we’re not running against the Almighty, we’re running against the alternative. Mitt Romney is well-known among the American people, let alone progressives, as someone who mostly caters to very wealthy Americans, and doesn’t have a lot of understanding or sympathy for those who aren’t. I’m pretty sure we’re in good shape and I’m pretty sure there’s going to be a big progressive turnout.
Yeah, just like the recall. Apparently Dean doesn’t realize the other side is more motivated this time around. Oh, and the fact they picked up a senate seat indeed was reported. Just it’s a lame-duck session and there will likely be a GOP majority again once the elections are held come November, and the GOP has redrawn the map, pretty much ensuring a majority again. Apparently Dean is unaware of this.

You’re right, Jammie. The Wisconsin legislature is out of session until January of 2013. That means there is no legislation of Walker’s to obstruct. Come November, we are probably going to pick up 2 or 3 Senate seats dues to a combination of redistricting and taking back a Senate seat that we lost due to a personal problem with one of our former Republican senators.
So basically the unions and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) just spent 16 months of their time and millions and millions of dollars to rent an empty chair in an empty chamber for 5 months.
Much like Custer’s achievement at Little Big Horn
What a coincidence Howie,. We look at it as a win too. Now why don’t you try to convince Mickey mouse and the others on that recall petition on how sweet your victory was?
wow scary i have something in common with howard dean…we both feel WI is a win…now that scares me.
In the same way Howard Dean looks at a tornado plowing through a junk yard and “sees a 747″. In other words, DELUSIONAL.
You know it’s been a bad week when your best moment is peeing away $35m of union dues and losing by more than in 2010.
i guess everything is relative.
