Highlight of Obama’s Night: The Smirk

How bad were things for the failed president Wednesday night? This is his highlight reel.

Via Gabe at AoS.

So awful was Obama’s performance even his slobbering media sycophants were left reeling.

Look: you know how much I love the guy, and you know how much of a high information viewer I am, and I can see the logic of some of Obama’s meandering, weak, professorial arguments. But this was a disaster for the president for the key people he needs to reach, and his effete, wonkish lectures may have jolted a lot of independents into giving Romney a second look.

Obama looked tired, even bored; he kept looking down; he had no crisp statements of passion or argument; he wasn’t there. He was entirely defensive, which may have been the strategy. But it was the wrong strategy. At the wrong moment.

The person with authority on that stage was Romney – offered it by one of the lamest moderators ever, and seized with relish. This was Romney the salesman. And my gut tells me he sold a few voters on a change tonight. It’s beyond depressing. But it’s true.

Might want to put a little ice on that butthurt, Andy.

The smirk actually morphed into a grimace at times last night.

Cocky, over-confident fighter takes unexpected punch to the solar plexus, sort of look

This is the Romney that I’m voting for. He didn’t have to “smirk” cause he had the facts on his side.

It was all he could do to sit there and not start screaming at Romney. Priceless. Now he knows somewhat how I feel as a citizen out here having to listen to him lecture me with no recourse.

Did they forget to tell President Training Pants that he would be on camera? Or was he just impatient to get back to the golf course?

Crash and Burn is going to be how all the debates are described. Crash and Burn I II III. With foreign policy coming up it may have to be called Crashed and Burning.

I didn’t watch the debate because there’s no point for me. I’m voting for ABO, so this means nothing to me.

That being said, Romney laid down facts. AWESOME!!!!! Fact: Fact: Fact:

    Brilliant.

    Obama is crying this morning.
