Here We Go: Union Thug Trumka Calls Hostess Shutdown a ‘Bain-Style’ Killing of Twinkies

It’s quite obvious this guy know his Twinkies.

The Bain attack is back.

This time it’s being used against Hostess Brands, the Twinkies and Wonder Bread maker that announced Friday it was closing. AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka drew the comparison in a public statement Friday.

“What’s happening with Hostess Brands is a microcosm of what’s wrong with America, as Bain-style Wall Street vultures make themselves rich by making America poor,” Trumka said in a public statement. “Crony capitalism and consistently poor management drove Hostess into the ground, but its workers are paying the price.”
Can someone let this fat slob the campaign is over and his guy won? It’s his problem some of his own people got too greedy, not Bain Capital. In the meantime, they expect the taxpayers to pick up the tab for the dismissed workers.
In no small irony, Trumka is a member of Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board.
Trumka is committed to creating an economy that leaves no worker behind and a society that rewards hard work, and he has dedicated his life to actively fighting racism and prejudice in any form he encounters it. He has been a university lecturer on the economy, social change and workers’ rights at Cornell University, the University of Illinois and others, and serves on numerous boards, including the National Labor College, Economic Policy Institute, ULLICO Inc., the Housing Investment Trust, the Solidarity Center, Alliance for Retired Americans and Union Privilege.

Hey, an optimist would say at least some of the progressive’s cronies are moving on from Bush now to Romney. It makes me wonder how long it will be Romney’s fault for him……..

The PE firm that took over Hostess was run by big Dem donors and Dick Gephart was one of the investors. Insty had a link to ZeroHedge last week. Undoubtedly this porcine prick Trumpka knows this.
