Ha Ha Ha: Obama Worried Romney Will Take Credit for Turning Economy Around

Posted by on Aug 20, 2012 at 10:09 am

He’s spent the better part of four years blaming Bush for his failures. Now when Mitt Romney comes in and fixes his mess, he’s worried Romney will get credit.

Just pathetic.

At an off-the-record lunch at the White House in June 2012, President Obama explained that he had to win re-election or Mitt Romney would get credit for an inevitable recovery during what would be his second term.

“I’m not going to let him win … so that he can take all the credit when the economy turns around,” Obama said, according to Glenn Thrush’s new book “Obama’s Last Stand.

According to the book, Obama’s advisers knew by 2011 that a positive campaign based on the improving economy “just wasn’t in the cards” and planned early to hit Mitt Romney with a negative campaign.

What a sad, miserable failure this boob is.

Because Obama does not want to be another Jimmy Carter.

But if Carter won, the economy would not have turned like it did. That is the part Obama is not getting.

B-but Romney is going to destroy the economy by lowering taxes (for the rich), cutting spending and generally doing things that “don’t work”!

So, how is it at all possible the economy will turn around?

But of course, they’ll try to take credit 4 years out when things finally start looking up again.

But, but….. we were told by this crew that the economy already DID turn around. What happened to Recovery Summers I & II?

GWB’s policies were directly responsible for the economy recovery months after the islamic terrorist attacks (THAT’S right, I SAID IT) on 9/11. He’s also partially responsible for the crash that started before Obama was elected (Dem controlled Congress accelerated the freefall).

Obama has had 3 YEARS to change the economy for the better and has done NOTHING but piss money away and wipe his ass with the American worker.

I don’t think he could balance his own checkbook. This man is an embarrassment. Carter will send him a nice fruit basket when his one term is done, thanking him for taking over as the WORST president in modern history.

Liar – No. He’s delivered on the promises he was allowed to keep that the Republican filibuster hasn’t prevented.

Set back race relations – No, and at this point the political climate doesn’t even allow for racism.

Worst – No, he’s actually good to be able to put up with an uncooperative Congress. The worst was probably Hoover. He made a joke about the Great Depression and did basically nothing during the worst economic crisis in America’s history.

If Romney is elected, expect to see one of the biggest bull runs in history. It will take some Herculean efforts to dig us out of the mess that successive decades of over-spending and criminally lax fiscal policies have landed us in, but at least without Obama’s foot on its neck the economy has a chance.

If this happens, then Obama’s tears, and the tears of all Lefties, will be delicious. I will be the Lachrymovore.

Seems like many people would rather prove a point & see the economy doing poorly just to get rid of Obama. Basically, that is what congress has done. The US economy is the hands of congress, The central bank & banking in general, so all this talk about Obama did this is a shameful distraction to reality. The reality is that after the election a do nothing congress will be forced into a Grand Compromise & that my friends will be the defining deal maker or breaker for the economy. Point Blank.
