Good Grief: Obama Says Thinking About Resurrection of Jesus Helps Him Through Tough Times

Obama Libya

Remember how much liberals freak out whenever a Republican mentions religion? Yeah, good times, good times. But when it comes time for Obama to pretend he’s really devoutly religious, they’ve got no problem with that.

Seriously, though, is this guy’s ego so out of control he’s comparing himself with Jesus?

President Barack Obama says the Easter story of Christ’s agony and resurrection has helped him get through the tough moments of an embattled presidency.

The president got “Amens” from religious leaders at a White House prayer breakfast in the East Room as he recounted Jesus saying, “In this world, you will have trouble.”

Obama says he’s among those who sometimes question God’s plan for him. But he says that’s precisely when he recalls the “triumph” of the Easter story, and Jesus overcoming his doubts and fears before the crucifixion.

Once the talking points are distributed, expect Democrats to tell us Obama is being “crucified” by Republicans. It won’t be a long wait.

Remember, it’s OK for Muslims to lie in order to advance Islam. Couple that with his Marxism and you’ve got nothing he won’t say.

Please pardon the blasphemy, but sweet Jesus!

    (no pun intended)

The “man’s” ego knows no bounds.

When did not having a chance to go golfing because you’re so busybusybusy checking off checkboxes at the Resolute desk become analogous to dying on the cross for the sins of humanity?

This is off topic, but the quotes from a certain low lever person on this show are quite hilarious. And revealing. Sort of like her hero’s quote above.

Yeah, I guess it does give him comfort! Islam has NO savior! With Jesus you can get to heaven without blowing yourself up in a crowded room!

“…he recounted Jesus saying, “In this world, you will have trouble.””

If he thinks he’s seen trouble in this life, wait until he gets to his next one.
