Aww, the old flame still burns for Slick.
In an interview with an ABC affiliate in New Orleans, Gennifer Flowers revealed that former President Bill Clinton offered to visit her in 2005.
Flowers, of course, revealed during Clinton’s first campaign that she had an affair with him while he was the governor of Arkansas.
“I picked up the phone and it was him,” Flowers said, “He wanted to come by my house and talk to me.”
“I said, ‘No you can’t come over here,’” she continued. “He said, ‘I’ll put on a hoodie and I’ll jog up there.’ … And I said, ‘No, I want you to leave me alone.’ And that was that.”
In case the interviewer doesn’t look familiar, we at least now know what happened to Susan Roesgen. Remember her?

RE: Bill & Gennifer
When Gennifer lived in Denver and Bill was president, he kept coming to Denver.
However, when Gennifer moved out of Denver and Bill was STILL president, he hardly ever came to town.
Regards,
Chuck(le)
[Bill is a sleaze-ball and stupid US put him in office and kept him there.]
Stupid US??
Bill Clinton was John Adams compared to our current Occupant, and in hindsight, he could dip his pen in every inkwell in town for all I care if he’d only take office tomorrow. And I’m a crazed right-winger thru and thru.
If that was a “stupid US” in 1992, I am not certain the words exist to describe the voters of 2012.
Andrew, I have to totally agree with you on that one. I cannot stand Bill Clinton but I would love to see him back in there rather than what we have now. I never dreamed I would say something like this. I am a right winger through and through. At least the guy knew what to do after he got a good whoopin.
Too bad Flowers doesn’t live in George Zimmerman’s neighborhood. Clinton could jog there wearing his hoodie.
Like Gennifer’s trout pout. This seems to be de riguer these days.
That aside, even the county dog catcher in any given county could do a better job than the current occupant of the WH.
And as much as I dislike Clinton, he’d be better, much better, also.
Yeah. I believe that story. She misses attention. Like she would keep that story to herself for 7 years. She would have been on the phone selling it as soon as he hang up.
Gentlemen- When you daydream about Clinton being in the White House now, you need to consider a couple of things.
First, when Clinton was in the WH, the Republicans were led by Gingrich, who enforced something vaguely resembling principles (politically at least) and expected fellow Republicans to act like adults.
Secondly, a majority of voters also had some expectation of principles and performance for those in high office. Clearly, the majority of the voting public no longer consider that a requirement.
You guys are remembering the Clinton who compromised because he HAD to. You’re now wishing that he was in a position where he DIDN’T have to compromise.
I don’t much think I would like Clinton as President in those circumstances…..
