Epic: Michelle Malkin Destroys Juan Williams After He Snidely Calls Her ‘Just a Blogger’

Posted by on Jun 13, 2012 at 10:05 pm

Considering it was bloggers who came to this boob’s defense after he was canned by NPR, condescendingly referring to Michelle Malkin as “just a blogger” tonight on Hannity wasn’t exactly showing his thanks.

Juan Williams‘ patience expired fairly openly on Hannity tonight after an attack of “elitism” from Michelle Malkin that stemmed from a debate about Attorney General Eric Holder where Williams took offense at Malkin saying Williams and other liberals only blamed Bush for President Obama’s failings, to which he initially replied “I’m a real reporter, not a blogger out in the blogosphere somewhere.”

A real reporter doubling as an Obama defender.

This exchange immediately went viral on Twitter. Curiously, real reporter Juan Williams is afraid to come out and play.

Yet another nail in the MSM coffin:

I really like Juan Williams. I find him to be a very honest liberal one can debate without rancor, and an independent thinker. And we should encourage that!
That said, I hope he walks this back, and I also hope many on the Right who disagree with his statement, will be gracious. Juan isn’t a bad guy. Hes just still in the MSM, and with that has to come some poor assumptions, one must outgrow.

I want to be Michelle Malkin when I grow up. I didn’t know Williams was on Obama’s payroll, this exchange said it all. Grow up, media.

I heard an exchange last week between Williams and Geraldo on his am talk show. They were discussing how political the republicans were being by focusing on Holder. If I hadn’t turned the radio off I would have thrown something at it. I will not listen to either one of them again.

Way too many black people loose all touch with reality when it comes to Obama. It is a deep psychosis to identify with someone this deeply all because of race.

If Obama was white, Williams and millions and millions of his black supporters would dump him.

Is it just me or does Williams repeated calling of Valerie Plame as Valerie Flame really grating on your nerves??

Juan has become such a shill for Obama in the past couple of years…sometimes my wife and I just look at each other and say, “Is Fox PAYING him to take this stand? He previously wasn’t anywhere near so crazy until Fox started putting him up as the “Liberal” in their panels.

    Fire Juan Again.
Maybe then he’ll remember who hired him when he spoke his mind last time.

Professional journalists, like Dan Rather and Mary Mapes of CBS, who insisted until the bitter end that the forged documents in the Bush National Guard hoax were real, unlike the ‘pajama-clad’ bloggers who immediately exposed the documents as fraudulent?

And what exactly is a professional journalist? What particular skill set do they possess that is unavailable to anyone who can write clearly and investigate stories? Are they certified by some Professional Journalism Society? They have a college degree in journalism, as opposed to say, English, history, marketing?

Many bloggers, unlike Pauline Kael, live in the real world, have a developed sense of reality, do not adhere to Michael Crichton’s Gell-Mann Effect, are adept at certain professional skills so that they actually know what they are talking about.

Race trumps all. Bros before hos, etc. “Juan” can do no other – he is trapped by his low IQ and predisposition to be a tool for his racial leaders. Always has been, always will be. Why anyone ever defended him is beyond me.

    He is a stupid man.

Does any one know Morse code, because Juan Williams eyes are blinking like mad. Any body language experts out there who can say what this means for Juan, blinking like mad?

  11. ice9 on 14/14/12 at 6:29 am

Yeah, you’re totally right. Except for the wrongness. Malkin chattered emptily, said nothing. She sourced nothing, noted nothing, offered no evidence. All she did was tell you that you were strong, virile, instinctively correct, perceptive, insightful, and deeply patriotic. Again.
Williams, who is not even a very good reporter and not a very good writer, offered a weak defense of journalism by adhering to the rules and ethics of the trade, more or less, which allowed the bloggers, and Hannity who is a large disconnected mouth, to make a sequence of brilliant arguments, each consisting of an assertion without any evidence or even any structure except for its presumed validity within its target audience. You can’t see that because you’re the target audience, and you’ve built your entire sense of the political world, including your evaluation of this imaginary Blogger vs. MSM death match, on the same empty fallacies.
The media is liberal, therefore wrong. Their facts and research are tainted by the wrongness of liberalness. Due to their association with the media, even good journalists are suspect. Suspects are convicts, because softness is a liberal trait. Scientists intentionally hide the curve in complexity, which is hard to understand because simplicity is a virtue. Simplifying science is an Al Gore liberal plot that can be demonstrated as false by associating it with fools who attempt to simplify science when everybody knows that it’s too complex for foolish liberals to understand because they’ve been coddled by media science reporters, who are liberals isn’t it obvious. Liberals are condescending, sniggering twits who are retarded. The only appropriate response to their arguments is to chuckle and shake your head because it’s just so obvious! And when they are sincere and seek a constructive dialogue it’s best to stab them in the back because they’re just looking for a chance to dolchstoss us and it’s the right thing to get them first, because they won’t see reason in our arguments and instead do nothing but nitpick, demanding evidence and so on, so it’s better just to stay quiet, stay on Hannity and Fox, where it’s safe and people don’t get all evidencey and numbery and so on, which is retarded. IF you are confronted with a pushy liberal despite your best efforts to confine your brilliantly persuasive arguments to those already convinced, then it’s best just to shake your head and chuckle at how retardedly simpleminded they are. Repeat if necessary. Or repeat anyhow, since it’s easier than actually composing a logical argument, and cheaper, and more effective, and why change now?

Juan Williams is just an affirmative action beneficiary posing as a journalist, which is really not much of a profession.

  13. Baz on 14/14/12 at 6:59 am

Is there a number, an argument or a fact in your rant somewhere ice9, or are you just blubbering because The Great O Balloon is sagging fast in the face of gravity?

  14. alanstorm on 14/14/12 at 7:49 am

ice9, you paint a vivid picture of what you believe conservative thought to be like. Got any facts to back up your assertions? Any evidence?

What you have painted is a caricature, reflecting your own thought processes projected onto your opponents.

    Please don’t vote or breed.

  15. erp on 14/14/12 at 8:42 am

… and Juan hasn’t even risen to the rank of blogger. He’s a token black affirmative action baby without a brain.

  16. BlogDog on 14/14/12 at 9:37 am

Juan Williams is either staggeringly stupid or a tendentious blowhard partisan. Neither possibility reflects well on him.

The Brits are furious with the Obama Admin over the information that this admin has revealed. To the Brits this info was Highly Classified. When Juan says ‘everybody knows’ about it, he’s admitting that the Obama Admin gave out what ought to be highly secure info. The point is No One ought to know about it. If the Obama Admin folks had even half a ounce of concern about US and UK security they’d know to keep their mouths shut. Those idiots running the show in DC are incompetent and don’t care about anything except re-electing the Duffer-in-Chief.

  18. where're my ping pong balls on 14/14/12 at 12:31 pm

Eh, I’ve always like Juan Williams. I think for the most part he’ll carry an honest (though not always cogent) argument, agree or disagree. Everyone has their blind spots and hills to defend.

I find most progressive arguments wrong, but not all “liberal” journalists are stupid/blinded/deceitful/etc. Many are just cocooned in their journalistic realms and have become intellectually lazy and protective of their crumbling domain. And yes many are elitist sycophants but not all.

ice9, your rant would have been funnier and more effective if it was more coherent. Of course, the same is said (and true) of the Left by the Right. How many MSNBC/CNN shows are just stocked with guests that agree with each other and the host? I don’t seem to recall the “blogger” Brietbart ever shying away from an appearance in hostile territory.

  19. richard40 on 14/14/12 at 1:55 pm

I like Juan Williams. He is a bit more honest and open than most leftists, probably because he has to constantly engage with conservative view points of view on Fox, so he is not completely in the leftist cacoon. He also provides Fox some balance to their right leaning programs, which MSNBC badly needs in the other direction.

Given that, he was completely wrong in his blogger comment, especially after those same bloggers publically defended him after his NPR “friends” lynched him. I hope he realises that and walks his comments back.

It is a bit ironic that the right, supposedly the closed minded ones, gives far more respect to leftists like Juan Williams, and Bob Bechel, that any program on the left gives to any conservative, and for that matter even to their fellow leftists who dare to stray too far from the plantation (like Booker). In reality it is the left that is actually the closed minded intolerant ones.
