Delusional Carney: Protests Not Directed at United States

Posted by on Sep 14, 2012 at 12:53 pm

There people are just not dealing with reality.

Um, really, Jay?

This is a fairly volatile situation and it is in response not to United States policy, not to, obviously, the Administration, not the to the American people. It is in response to a video, a film, that we have judged to be reprehensible and disgusting, that in now way justifies any violent reaction to it, but this is not a case of protests directed at the United States writ large or at US policy, this is in response to a video that is offensive, and, to Muslims. Again, this is not in any way justifying violence, and we’ve spoken very clearly out against that, and condemned it.”

OK, then, party on, folks. These guys had their “bin Laden is dead” mantra going all week at their convention. But no, that had nothing to do with angering their friends in the Muslim world.

That RPG? That was NOT directed at our personnel. That increase in the chocolate ration? Definitely WAS directed at our people.

“White House press secretary Jay Carney said Friday the violent protests throughout the Middle East are not directed at the United States or U.S. policy but are a response to a YouTube video:”

Um, uh, what!? I must live in a different reality then this imbecile. It was a U.S. ambassador and U.S. personnel that were killed, and U.S. embassies that are being attacked and overrun. A youtube video is nothing more then a convenient excuse for Islamic violence.
    ……
The above was my immediate facebook posting when I read about Carney’s idiotic statement.

CARNEY: We also need to understand that this is a fairly volatile situation and it is in response not to United States policy, and not to, obviously, the administration, or the American people, but it is in response to a video, a film that we have judged to be be reprehensible and disgusting. That in no way justifies any violent reaction to it, but this is not a case of protests directed at the United States writ large or at U.S. policy, this is in response to a video that is offensive to Muslims.
Let me understand your logic wait I can’t you are a Democrat you’re as bad as The VP “OPEN MOUTH INSERT FOOT” AGAIN LEFT WING HANGS IN THE BALANCE OF ATTEMPTING TO DISPLAY INTELLIGENCE AND TOTAL OUT RIGHT STUPIDITY.
FACTS: Protesters attack U.S. Embassies in Tunis and Sudan; Tunisian protesters smashed windows and lit fires inside the embassy compound, while gunfire could be heard. Images of a dark column of smoke over the Tunisian site have circulated on the Internet Friday. Protestors are destroying the KFC’S HARDEES McDonalds these are all Italian restaurants “hehe wait till they burn them all down and they are back to goat meat stew that will teach them a lesson”.
Our flag the symbol of the United States of America is being burned around the region and the world.
American embassies are stormed are direct attacks toward American buildings and human life threatened only towards American symbols, Hello I think they are trying to send a message to the Russians they wouldn’t dare burn our flag it’s a figment of our imagination.

Those mobs aren’t chanting “Death to YouTube” and burning copies of a film. Does Carney think we are complete idiots?
