Chris Matthews: Challenging Obama is Unconstitutional or Something

Posted by on Oct 18, 2012 at 7:37 am

The deranged Obama buttboy is really losing it these days. Poor thing doesn’t quite understand our form of government if he  believes the president cannot be challenged.

After the clip ended, Matthews seemed appalled. “I don’t think [Romney] understands the Constitution of the United States,” Matthews said.  “He’s the president of the United States.  You don’t say, ‘You’ll get your chance.’”

Now, it’s entirely possible for one to think Romney was rude to Obama during that moment in the debate.  A president is of course entitled to some deference, and some people undoubtedly thought Romney was insufficiently deferential.  Others thought Romney’s behavior was entirely acceptable.  But just for the record, there is nothing in the Constitution barring one from saying “You’ll get your chance” to the President of the United States — no matter what his supporters on MSNBC say.

We suspect once President Romney is sworn in challenging the president will become a patriotic duty.

Show me Mr. Matthews where it’s Unconstitutional to challenge ANY president? Come on you moron! Show it to me! Tell me where it says that! You can’t because it doesn’t exist!!!

There is a story that one of Theodore Roosevelt’s sons said something disrespectful and his step-mother asked, “Are you going to punish him?” Supposedly TR replied, “If he said that to me as his father, I will punish him. If he said that to me as president, that is his right.”
Under the law, the president can only require deference from those under his authority: the armed forces, the executive agencies and so on. Any other citizen is absolutely entitled to be disrespectful in thought or word. Good thing for journalists from 2001 to 2009!

Chris Matthews is in the beginning stage of alcoholic dementia. In a short while, he will deteriorate to the level of Teddy Kennedy. I’ll give it to Tingles though, he’s not the proven, cold blooded killer Teddy was.

Didn’t Sam Donaldson make money off of a book bragging about challenging Ronnie raygun? Even the title incorporated the theme. These people are pathetic.

Screw these people. The president is our employee. He is ONLY the president. He is not a king, he is not a god. He has no privileges in any aspect of a campaign for election, or indeed, getting in line for a hot dog at the ballpark. We can tell him to go to the back of the line in his turn like anyone else, not cut in front because he thinks he is privileged by his job.

Matthews is a slobbering left wing ass that has never been anything but a political parasite.

  7. Clint on 18/18/12 at 10:35 am

The President was trying to interrupt him.

And the “argument” is that Romney was rude for not deferring to the interruption?

So, will “Tingles” turn himself in for the crimes he committed during the Bush administration?

The minds of progressives /communists are a wondrous place where fantasy becomes reality.
    Behold, Tingles, the perfect example.
Something tells me he’s angling for a spot on North Korean TV or it’s American counterpart, Current TV.

The alpha male dominated the beta male. Tingles needs to accept the fact that their guy is weak and gave proper deference to the true alpha male. It’s been happening in nature since the beginning of time.

Chris Matthews, the intellect of MSNBC.

No, that would be Mika Bzryzynski (sp?).

I still think it is the later stages of Syphilis that has changed Tingles Matthews into the nonsensical talking head he is today.

Crackermike, I could not agree with you more!! This man need professional help. Hopefully, right after Nov 6, he’ll have plenty of ime to mourn the passing of the regime, and reach out for the help he, AND his MSNBC cohorts so desperately need!

Reminds me of a joke from the 80’s.

An American and a Soviet were talking. The American said “We have freedom of speech here! I can go straight to the White House steps and yell “PRESIDENT REGAN SUCKS!!” and nothing will happen to me at all!”

The Soviet said “Oh we have free speech too! I can go up to the steps of the Kremlin and yell “PRESIDENT REGAN SUCKS!!” and nothing will happen to me either!”

There’s no arguing with crazy people and children. Chris Matthews is the face of totalitarianism only with a clean shave and a nice suit. But look closer – he’s Stalin, Castro, Chavez, Mao, etc… underneath.

He’s hiding behind the First Amendment in a perverse and twisted attempt to to silence Omama’s critics and the very freedoms that same First Amendment protects. Ironic and twisted – isn’t it.

In Chris’s world everyone posting here would end up in a Gulag for daring to defy the Omama regime. And the ultimate twist is; a useful idiot like Chris would be among the very first ones to disappear into the prisons for re-education.

Unfortunately, he’s too stupid to know it.

Please excuse Chris. He thinks that Obama is our emperor and emperors don’t get challenged.

    re: #13 jukin’s comment

Dangit!! I wanted to say it’s syphilis. Dangit.

Oh well as long as the truth gets out that’s what counts. Man there are some good comments on this thread.

Mr. Matthews definitely has something going on inside that cranium of his. Who knows what. He’s trying to be more outrageous than anyone on the left. Even people like Bill Maher – degenerate pukeface – don’t spout off as much as Mr. Matthews does.
