C’mon, the guy was too busy to involve himself in the Wisconsin recall, do you really think he has the time to call his Commerce Secretary when the guy is in the hospital?
President Obama is keeping a safe distance from his commerce secretary after John Bryson was cited for a felony hit-and-run in a bizarre series of car crashes Saturday.
The White House yesterday said Obama hasn’t even called Bryson, 68, who Commerce Department officials said was diagnosed with a seizure when hospitalized after repeatedly crashing his Lexus in Los Angeles.
But the White House last night announced that Bryson will take a medical leave of absence.
Preliminary reports indicated drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the incidents, which began when Bryson allegedly rear-ended a Buick. Bryson (pictured) got out of his car to talk to the Buick’s driver, then got back in his car and drove off, crashing into the Buick again before driving away and crashing into another car, cops said.
