By the Way, In Case You’re Totally Clueless, Anderson Cooper is Gay

Obviously he needs a ratings boost. Yawn.

It’s a story that many people knew but that doesn’t make it any less newsworthy. Via an email reprinted on Andrew Sullivan’s “The Dish” blog on The Daily Beast, Anderson Cooper has told the world he’s gay. Rumors have long surrounded the CNN host and war correspondent, but even in his memoirs, Anderson Cooper would not answer questions about his sexual orientation.

Sullivan wrote on his blog that he asked for Cooper’s thoughts on an Entertainment Weekly story that ran last week on gay people in public life coming out.

Knock me over with a boa feather.

Two clues that this guy in particular, and the media in general are seriously screwed up:

    1. He thinks his being gay is newsworthy.
    2. He has actually written memoirs.

It is unfair to say that one political party is trying to out law “gay marriage”. As evidenced in so many public ballots, these numbers far exceed one political fact they tell the true story of the other political party. Don’t you get it?

There are more and more people stating that yes they are for gay marriage, but then in state after state, those numbers change from 53% saying in favor, to 70% at a private ballot box. Doesn’t that tell you polling is wrong or people are not telling the truth?

Okay for Anderson….think about it people. I am a conservative to the bone..fiscally.

Anderson Cooper is gay? There’s a surprise.

Next big shocker – Chaz Bono is obese.

Why is it that gay people feel compelled to announce to the world they are gay as if they are now eligible for some award. I am straight, and I do not feel a need to announce it on TV, in the paper, on twitter, facebook, or any other media outlet. If you can’t just be yourself without having to announce it, you must not be very secure about yourself. I have one sentence for all of you: GET OVER IT and start worrying about important things. One thing is sure: You are not important to either me or the rest of the world.
