I wonder if the networks will bother reporting this? Nah, I doubt it.
One of the five self-described anarchists arrested last week for attempting to blow up a local bridge signed the lease for a West Side warehouse where about a dozen members of the Occupy Cleveland group live.
In a one-hour recording of a Friday evening general assembly meeting of the group posted on its website http://occupycleveland.com/live-stream/, occupy leaders expressed concern about Anthony Hayne’s name being on the lease, which strengthens his link to the group.
“We have a person facing terrorism charges on the lease of our warehouse,” said one of the leaders. “If this gets into the media, it would be a disaster.”
Well, not really. Big media will just avoid mentioning this inconvenient fact.
Occupy Cleveland is thinking about moving from the warehouse.
During the general assembly meeting, one leader asked the group, “Is it just me? Aren’t you uncomfortable living in a warehouse where a guy has been arrested for terrorism? I don’t want to live in a place and have the FBI show up.”
Another member said the group was having problems with neighbors near the warehouse, strengthening the argument to move.
At the meeting, the leaders ousted a man from the movement who is known only as “Crazy Larry” because he assaulted another member the night before.
“He thought the member had some information about the bombing,” Zitt said. “He threatened and hit him. We threw him out, and as he left the building he smashed a window and sliced bike tires. He’s not the kind of person we want involved with our group.”
Zitt said Saturday that Crazy Larry was upset about the bombing.
Zitt stressed the Occupy Cleveland movement is dedicated to non-violence. He said if they had known Hayne and the other four men were considering terrorism, they would have thrown them out.
Mostly peaceful non-violence, of course.

Why should you worry about stuff they’ll never report, it isn’t important and would only serve to confuse viewers about what is really going on. Mind you if one of the bombers once had a girlfriend who briefly considered voting for McCain in 2008 it would be newsworthy and trumpeted as proof of a connection to right-wing extremists, but that’s something which might help their viewers form a picture of the truth.
You know, there was a rumor that a tea partier once said the n-word back in the Reagan administration. It led the NBC nightly news tonight.
” if they had known Hayne and the other four men were considering terrorism, they would have thrown them out.”
THROWN? Picked them up, against their will, and swung them back and forth and launched them into the air through the door to land outside? That kind of “thrown”?
Pretty violent for pacifists, I’d say.
I mean, yeah, I’d have done the same thing. But I’m pretty inclined to violence, you know.
Adbusters, the source of the OWS movement has never particularly advocated non-violence.
Do these people even understand the term ‘anachronist’? Since when do they engineer media coverups? And sign leases? Or have leaders?
BlueHen – did you mean “anarchist”, as in “without a leader”? An anachronist is one who defies or doesn’t believe in time, or refuses to acknowlege its passage… e.g. those of us who believe in personal responsibility, limited government, etc. We are deemed ‘anachronistic’ by the left, which is fine with me. As to the morons from Occupy The Cleveland Area: Come take Toledo, too. It’s all yours, and you’ll fit right in.
good catch. I meant anarchist.
Occupy Cleveland is on record as being against “wars and occupations.” http://occupycleveland.com/
“Oops,” to quote Rick Perry!
OCCUPY Cleveland is against occupations? Ah, leftists, you provide endless amounts of unintentional comedy.
