This jerk went from talking trash earlier today to now whining like a sniveling little bitch in less than 12 hours. And get this: He’s now claiming he’s getting death threats. Ironic for a guy who wished death upon NYPD officers.
An Occupy Wall Street sympathizer who tweeted about killing cops complained Monday that he’s gotten death threats because of the uproar.
Florida restaurant manager Rusty Braxton is also upset he had to delete his Twitter account because of what he claims is just a misunderstanding.
“I’m not a cop hater,” Braxton, 23, told the Daily News as the NYPD continued to investigate his ugly online remark.
“I don’t want any cops killed. They’re doing their job. They’re civil servants.”
Braxton sent the tweet from his hometown of Oviedo during Saturday’s six-month anniversary protest at Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park.
“We wont make a difference if we dont kill a cop or 2,” he wrote.
His Facebook page contains photographs of guns, and he said in his Twitter feed that he has permits for a Mossberg shotgun and a Smith & Wesson pistol.
The NYPD flagged the posting — but Braxton’s grandfather said the only thing his grandson would shoot off is his mouth.
“Typical kid,” R.W. Braxton said. “You know how these youngsters are. They talk before they put their brains in gear.
“I can assure you it was a harmless gesture on his part. If he’d stay off this computer, he’d be better off.”
In a phone interview Monday, Rusty Braxton said he had been watching live footage of the protest on UStream and reading comments in the chat room from other viewers.
He contended his tweet wasn’t about OWS but was a response to a comment from someone in another country where there’s a bloody revolution going on.
Braxton doesn’t remember the country, and he didn’t give that account in an earlier interview.
His story changed so many times it was hard to follow his Twitter stream while it was up. Plus he was pretty much illiterate and incoherent. Probably won’t be managing that restaurant much longer given the bad publicity.
