Sick: Sandusky Victim Bullied Out of School

Posted by on Nov 21, 2011 at 11:08 am

Apparently these folks in Pennsylvania still can’t come to grips with the fact Joe Paterno will no longer be coaching in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal. Now we learn that “Victim One” has been forced to leave school during his senior year of high school because he’s being bullied by kids upset with Paterno’s firing.

This is just sick.

Victim One, the first known alleged victim of abuse by former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, had to leave his school in the middle of his senior year because of bullying, his counselor said Sunday.

Officials at Central Mountain High School in Clinton County weren’t providing guidance for fellow students, who were reacting badly about Joe Paterno’s firing and blaming the 17-year-old, said Mike Gillum, the psychologist helping his family. Those officials were unavailable for comment this weekend.

The name-calling and verbal threats were just too much, he said.

Other alleged victims are turning to each other for support, since they fear others will out them and cause a media swarm. The only encouragement for Victim One, Gillum said, is watching other alleged victims come forward because they felt empowered by his courage.

More sympathy for Paterno than for the victims. Yup, they’ve got their priorities straight.

Meanwhile, this freak Sandusky is still out and about sporting Penn State gear.

Victim One had to change schools. Joe Paterno was in hiding. Mike McQueary was getting death threats.

And Jerry Sandusky appeared jolly, smiling and greeting people in Penn State clothing as he shopped at stores and worked out at the gym.

“Neighbors are snapping at each other,” said Susan Strauss, who lives next door to the Sanduskys’ house on Grandview Road. “This is just really hard for them to handle. It’s a kind of betrayal, even though they didn’t betray us.”

The dude is a sociopath. Who on earth would want to be seen in public with such allegations hanging over their head?

This morning it was announced former FBI Director Louis Freeh was named to a panel investigating the scandal. He’s got his work cut out for him.

“weren’t providing guidance for fellow students”

So it’s the school’s fault and not the kids or the parents’ fault??
Jeez, what happened to personal responsibility?

  2. upinak on 21/21/11 at 12:08 pm

Wow, PJ.. the kid is still a minor and you go and say it’s the kids fault that his name was leaked? And then the kids, whose parents are Joepa fans, went after the victim?

WTF are you smoking? You would go after a child who was probably a victim because of flipping FOOTBALL? ARE you FARKING HIGH or STUPID?

Wow.. get a flipping clue moron.

  3. upinak on 21/21/11 at 12:11 pm

And if I read your statement wrong.. I apologize. I hate this.. I hate the fact people are going after the victims for farking football. i hate the fact that sandusky is out doing his “thang” and not behind bars. I hate the fact that no one did anything to help those kids.

Everyone is at fault here except the victims.

The little high school brats who were name-calling a rape victim need to be expelled, and the reason for this expulsion stamped on their permanent record. These stupid f*****s can burger flip for the rest of their lives.

These kids parents should be publicly shamed and sued.

The school should be sued for failing to control these brats.

Sandusky needs to hauled out behind the courthouse and shot, after a quick trial. His enablers ( employees and employers that covered up for him ) need prison sentences as accomplices.

Kristopher-AGREED! I want the name of every little dirtbag who threatended Victim #1, upon verification, posted on a “molester enabler” site for the rest of their misbegotten lives. I want their photos posted. Thier addresses posted. The names and photos of their worthless parents posted for the rest of their worthless lives!

Another example of the lack of a moral compass in this country! Blaming and bullying victims over this mess is unconscionable and everything and everybody is out of whack!

    “Apparently these folks in Pennsylvania”

Excuse me, but there are lots of people in Pennsylvania who have had quite the dislike for Paterno for a long time.

Pitt fans, mostly. Penn State sucks.

Why would you expect the entitled, bully offspring of the elitist, bully alumni parents to act differently…
This is the truth about what Penn State has ALWAYS been about. Take a bunch of rich kids; isolate them in the middle of the mountains, tell them they’re better than everyone else and feed them a steady diet of elitist entitlement, skewed priorities and hero worship and this is what you’ll get…
The NCAA has to shut them down, and PSU has to rebuild the program from the ground up. They’ll be siding with molestors and the cover-up if they don’t.

Paterno was railroaded without cause because of all the hysteria surrounding this matter. (He had nothing to do with it, it wasn’t his job, he didn’t see it, and he’s not a cop).

That’s what happens when you let hysterical people run amok. A silent plurality of people is very annoyed at what happened and this isn’ t the first time.

Now one of the victims has been thrown under the bus, and he shouldn’t have either.

Looks to me like the score has been evened.

  10. Teleprompter on 21/21/11 at 6:24 pm

@sirkowski – I’m not saying the kid should have been bullied. At the same time the Penn State Board of Trustees shouldn’t have succombed to hysteria, either. Paterno and McQueary shouldn’t have been sacrificed. Neither is right.

  11. Char on 21/21/11 at 6:56 pm

This is not about Paterno. This is about what happened to a sex-abuse victim because of some other dysfunctional kids of little judgment and a bullying instinct. Penn State should find a way to quickly get this victim into a private school so he can get quality counseling and finish his education.

  12. Teleprompter on 21/21/11 at 7:28 pm

@Char – BS. I am sick and tired of people getting railroaded because of histeria. It hapened to the Amirault family in the 1980’s, and it happened to Paterno and McQueary this month. A very large number of people are very angry at spineless bureaucrats who can’t stand up for people who did nothing wrong and capitulate to an angry mob.

  13. STFU Teleprompter on 22/22/11 at 12:48 am

Teleprompter, you are a despicable person. Even if you were right that Paterno and McQueary did nothing wrong, comparing what they have endured to what a VICTIM OF CHILD RAPE has endured is truly reprehensible.

I think they are building a special circle of hell for all of you scumbag Paterno/Penn State apologists.

And there’s no ‘silent plurality’ of people who think Paterno and McQueary did nothing wrong. The only people who think that are mouth-breathing jock-worshiping meatheads like you who think protecting children from sexual predators is just not quite as important as protecting the legacy some nice old guy who won a bunch of fucking football games.

When I first heard about all this, I had some sympathy for Penn State fans having to realize their hero failed the most important moral test of his life. But after hearing the mindless, insulting crap from JoePa cultists like you for the past two weeks, I have no sympathy. I’m going to laugh when they melt down Paterno’s statue and all you apologists are crying in your bratwurst.

Joe Paterno is a pedophile enabler at minimum and likely orchestrated a cover-up of Sandusly’s child raping. If Paterno goes to the cops back in 2002 he prevents 9 years of little boys being sodomized by his 30-year assistant, Sandusky. Paterno chose to remain silent and scores of 10 year old boys were brutalized for life as a result. You clueless Penn State supporters need to come to grips with this irrefutable fact.

  15. Kristopher on 22/22/11 at 12:49 pm

    Sandusky needs to be executed.

Paterno needs to be jailed for enabling him.

You personally need to meet the ALL of the parents of these children for a good and proper beat-down.
