SCOAMF To Visit Ft. Bragg Today

I am beginning to see some chinks in the armor of The One among his faithful media lapdogs. It seems the honeymoon may be close to an end and, like a Kardashian marriage, they are moving to amicable separation.

President Barack Obama is marking the end of the Iraq war with a tribute to the troops who fought and died in a conflict he opposed from the start.

While he is there he is expected to talk about sacrifice and all of the little things soldiers who are deployed miss by being separated from their families. You know like vacations in Hawaii or Martha’s Vineyard or all those golf games.

“We must not forget the men and women who gave their lives, tens of thousands wounded, all those missed birthday parties, missed soccer games and missed dinners because folks were on their second or third deployment. We should not take that for granted,” the president told KOAA-TV in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Yup, he speaks to honoring the sacrifices of the soldiers like some guy who has spent more time on a golf course or flying around the country on the taxpayer’s dime to either make campaign speeches or a little time off from the pressures of Hollywood, er, Washington, can totally relate to.
