Politico Discovers Just Maybe It Is The Message

Of course liberals will condense this down to their usual argument of how it isn’t the message but the messenger that is to blame. They never admit that it is indeed their liberal message that people are tuning out. Look at any largely liberal media source and you will find nothing but failure. MSNBC is a perennial basement dweller in the cable news ratings. Air America went belly up. Now Poltico is doing for the web what their liberal brethren have done in other areas.

Under Assault for Liberal Bias, Politico’s Traffic Dives

Internet traffic and Web search measurement tools from several sources indicate that despite massive promotion efforts on MSNBC and in other venues, Politico.com is rapidly losing readers, especially outside of Washington, D.C.

Measurements of U.S. Web traffic provided to The Daily Caller by Compete, Inc. indicate that the number of total monthly visits to Politico.com dropped by 31.8 percent during the 18-month period that ended on October 31.

Advertising on MSNBC will do that for you. Why would you advertise on a network that nobody is watching? I am sure the rates were cheap and as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for.
