OWS Poster Boy Has Been Arrested Six Times: “A Provocative Young Man Who is Seeking Attention”

A lengthy arrest record? Seeking attention? that pretty much sums up this entire movement. A bunch of brats screaming “look at me” in between arrests.

Remember the 19-year-old Occupy Wall Street demonstrator who claimed that he lost his virginity during the protests and was “amped for it?” His name is Brandon Watts, and he’s the same protester who was seen bloodied in photos following protests on the two-month anniversary of the movement. City Room found that he had been arrested six times since arriving in New York from his home outside Philadelphia, and his family believes he’s less of an activist and more of a troubled teenager. His attorney notes, “You see from the nature of the arrests that Brandon has accumulated, they are clearly arrests of a provocative young man who is seeking attention.”

OK, so where is his family to reign him in? They admit he’s troubled yet they still allow him to be out there making a nuisance of himself?

“In the past, he’s done stuff, and afterwards, he’s like, ‘I’m sorry.’ You would have to tell him about it and everything would be fine,” his 18-year-old sister says. “But then it happens over and over, and there’s nothing really to help him.”

A lengthy stint in jail would probably work. That or a slap upside the head.

When I was young we had a word for provocative, attention seeking troublemakers. We called them assholes.

I knew 2 guys like him when I was younger. They fed off of each other. No impulse control but they could hatch a scheme fast.

One of them couldn’t make it out of Marine boot camp and then the Army cashiered him a year later.

Both were troubled and failed at everything for the most part. They tried to pass it off as just wanting to have fun and not taking anything too serious, as if they were in total control.

Both had been held back in grade school, both never graduated, both drank and used drugs heavily, both went to county for petty crimes, both broke probation and eventually they both died in their early 20’s. One was stabbed and one hung himself in the state hospital.
