Deranged Venezuelan Dictator: U.S. Spreading Cancer as a Political Weapon or Something

Posted by on Dec 28, 2011 at 4:42 pm

Look, I know the guy is crazy and probably delirious from all the chemo treatments, but is he also taking hallucinogens too?

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez hinted that the U.S. may be behind a “very strange” bout of cancer affecting several leaders aligned with him in South America.

Chavez, speaking a day after Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, said the Central Intelligence Agency was behind chemical experiments in Guatemala in the 1940s and that it’s possible that in years to come a plot will be uncovered that shows the U.S. spread cancer as a political weapon against its critics.

“It’s very difficult to explain, even with the law of probabilities, what has been happening to some of us in Latin America,” Chavez said in a nationally televised speech to the military. “Would it be so strange that they’ve invented technology to spread cancer and we won’t know about it for 50 years?”

Chavez, who was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in June and had a baseball-sized tumor removed in Cuba, has called for a regional summit of leaders who have battled cancer including Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, her predecessor Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva and Paraguay’s Fernando Lugo.

“I’m just sharing my thoughts, but it’s very, very, very strange,” Chavez said. “Evo take care of yourself, Correa, be careful, we just don’t know,” he said, referring to Evo Morales and Rafael Correa, the leaders of Bolivia and Ecuador.

    Deranged Venezuelan Dictator ???
The guy has won numerous free and fair elections (according to various international institutions), why do you call him a dictator? Maybe because he stands up to American aggression, right?

If you want to see a dictatorship emerging just look at the USA. The democratic carpet is being pulled right from under your feet, by the corporate thugs that own all your administrations, and still you obsess about the “Deranged Venezuelan Dictator”.

As to the weaponization of cancer, its not science fiction. Most likely, its science fact.
    Just google Oncovirus.

Just like the guy before said, why would someone that runs to Cuba for health treatment, adores that nut case in Iran, and is trying to be dictator for life be considered ‘deranged.’ He is as sane as Dear Leader, Kim Jung Il. Geesh!

First, he’s intimidated all opposition candidates. His country is less democratic at this point then Russia. So not so free elections.

Second, practically everything he does is stupid. Look, the US has bigger things to worry about then stupid Venezuela. So we don’t really care what he says. We’re not that petty. The issue we have with him is that he’s supporting drug dealing paramilitaries in Columbia, making kissy face with the Iranians, and seems to WANT a war with the US. We do NOT want a war with him. But he apparently can’t stop fantasizing about some battle royal with the US.

Third, if you don’t think his accusation of us giving him cancer is deranged then you’ve drunk the koolaid. I mean, he’s practically wearing a propeller beanie at this point while singing show tunes backwards. The man is clearly nuts. And that’s fine. We in the US do not care. If they want a nut case for a leader – Have fun. Where we get interested is with the international actions. When he threatens our allies or makes alliances with our enemies. Do neither and the US will ignore you.

Fourth, when we ACTUALLY go after him, he’ll know it. It won’t be a suspicion. We’ll dump money into his opposition candidates and pass enough information to his enemies within the country that they’ll be able to take him apart from the inside out. The man is extremely corrupt. It would not be hard.

Jammie, you have quiete a lot of reading and studying to do of latin american politics and usa mingling in its foreign affairs. Start with by William Blumm and there after do some reading about the southern part of this Continent, “the open veins of Latinamerica”. I see that your reading menu for this region is 100% reactionary of the right oriented. What the Empire is capable to do through his agencies, military and embassies is an open book in 2012.

“What the Empire is capable to do”….

Ooooh…. The Empire! Booga booga booga!

That, my friend, is what is called “a tell”. Go back to the basics. A savvier propagandist would know better.
