Blame Bush! Obama’s Approval Now Worse Than Jimmy Carter

Geez, we may need to have this Photoshopped so it shows Carter pointing and laughing at him.

President Obama’s slow ride down Gallup’s daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.

Since March, Obama’s job approval rating has hovered above Carter’s, considered among the 20th century’s worst presidents, but today Obama’s punctured Carter’s dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama’s job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter’s 51 percent.

Back in 1979, Carter was far below Obama until the Iran hostage crisis, eerily being duplicated in Tehran today with Iranian protesters storming the British embassy. The early days of the crisis helped Carter’s ratings, though his failure to win the release of captured Americans, coupled with a bad economy, led to his defeat by Ronald Reagan in 1980.

Geez, we may need to have this Photoshopped so it shows Carter pointing and laughing at him.

    And pointing at Obama.

I’m sure Carter would like another one term Democrat President to help him support the Palestinians.
How about a poll about Obama’s post-Presidency life? Jobs? More inadvertent meetings with Bill Ayers maybe?

Couldn’t help but be reminded of another Jimmy Carter parallel this morning when I read that the Iranians and attacked the British embassy and seized people. Also in the month of November.

The good news is, that for the Presidents of the next 90 years, the role of the “21st century’s worst President” is taken.

He is not actually the worst president, but he is presiding over some of the worst times. Obama has added a little over 2 trillion to the debt… Bush added 6 trillion.

It is unfortunate that Carter’s dismal ratings won us Ronald Regan, that creepy old bugger. He began the process of shipping American jobs and manufacturing overseas. He gave away our way of life, the judas.

    To Questionman.
I think your figures are off. I thought Obamas 3 yr total was 4 trillion, and Bush was 5 trillion over 8 yrs. On a per year basis that would mean Obama was almost twice as bad as Bush.
